Hi,
thanks for checking out our web
site and wanting to know more about
me. I grew up in Kingwood, a suburb
north of Houston, Texas and graduated
from Kingwood High School in 1997.
I then went to The
University of Texas at Austin
and studied mechanical engineering.
During my limited free time, I started
learning to fly and obtained my
private pilot's license in September
of 1998. I continued flying during
college (thanks in part to the University
Flying Club) and I currently
hold a commercial license with multi-engine,
instrument, and single-engine seaplane
ratings. I graduated from UT in
December of 2001 with a degree in
mechanical engineering. I currently
work as a pipeline engineer for
Antares
Offshore, a small start-up engineering
company in Houston.
My
parents, Charles and Jan, moved
from Kingwood in 2003 to Cookson,
Oklahoma where they built
a house at Snake
Creek, a fly-in community. My
grandmother, Dorothy, also lives
with them. I enjoy going to visit
my parents in Oklahoma because it
is a beautiful place to truly "get
away" and enjoy life, not to
mention the amazing sunsets.

The
other reason I love visit Oklahoma
is that I get to play with all of
the fun toys. A few years ago my Dad
and I became partners in a Lake amphibian
aircraft, which is a lot of fun to
fly.

My
other hobby is web site design (if
you couldn't tell). This web site
is my most ambitious project to date
and I have a lot of fun trying out
new things. I have spent a lot of
time with the Photo
Gallery on this web site so please
be sure to check it out. Like anyone
I can make mistakes so if you see
anything that looks funny or is mispelled
or you just want to say "hi",
please send me an email (chris@chrisandjessica.net).
I have recently started a blog
which is updated every so often. Thanks
again for checking out our website.
